Creating content for children should be centred on play that help their imagination, scaffold around their understanding of the world and give them confidence to connect with each other. Children have the capacity to understand complex ideas, they are boundless and fearless. The Big Kids create works that respect the intelligence of our young collaborators and encourage their capacity to generate inspiring ideas and concepts.
The Big Kids are made up of arts professionals who have worked with children, raised them, taught them and have been inspired by their genius. Our creative practice is informed by almost two decades of wide ranging work across film, television, theatre, media and entertainment. Individually we are respected by our peers and have worked with some of the best creatives in the country. We come from diverse cultural backgrounds and value difference in presenting robust and vibrant worlds for our community and audiences. Kids wholeheartedly participate if they can see themselves on their screens and digital platforms.

DANCE TIME WITH AUNTY ROSE (Live Action)
Dance Time with Aunty Rose is a 7 minute daily dose of live action dance for kids. Hosted by your favourite dancing Aunty, Aunty Rose. Rose’s infectious positivity radiates through your screen, down your fingertips and toes, and into your heart. It’s a colourful, fast paced program introduces kids to a world of different music styles that they will love - and so will their parents! Lets make screen time active!
THE ADVENTURES OF SCOOTER AND SCRAPPY (Animated)
Scooter has a HUGE imagination. Every day he daydreams about what his grown-up life will be like, what job he may want to do, and each adventure that job would bring! Accompanied by his trusty dog Scrappy, each episode follows a different profession, a different fantasy and a crazy adventure.
